Sundays is Alethea’s feature film debut and premiered at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in Official Competition in May 2020. It is produced by Giorgos Karnavas and Konstantinos Kontovrakis of Athens-based production company HERETIC, winners of the 2018 Eurimage Co-Production Award and producers of Pari (Berlinale Panorama 2020), Kala Azar (Rotterdam 2020), and Son of Sofia (winner Jury Prize Tribeca 2018), among many others.

The Foreigner

Filmed in Greece during the economic crisis, The Foreigner is a lighthearted comedy about a remote Greek village that must raise its population in order to avoid being cut off from the local government. When a foreigner, Eric, stumbles into town, the village mayor rallies the hostile townspeople to convince Eric to stay.
