Alethea C. Avramis is a creative who works at the intersection of experiential and interactive content, and traditional filmmaking. She has made four short films that have screened at dozens of festivals worldwide. Her last short film, The Foreigner, was produced by Christos V. Konstantakopoulos of Faliro House and won a student Emmy award.

In immersive media, Alethea was on the producing team of the award-winning VR series "Gloomy Eyes" narrated by Colin Farrell and released on Oculus in May 2020. In 2018, she was on the producing teams of the Sundance and Tribeca VR official selections BattleScar, narrated by Rosario Dawson, and the three part series SPHERES: Songs of Spacetime, narrated by Jessica Chastain and Patti Smith and co-produced with Darren Aronofsky, winner of the Golden Lion at Venice Biennale 2018.

         The VR project’s she’s been part of have been screened at the world's major film festivals: Venice, Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, and Cannes.  Alethea gave a keynote speech at TEDxAthens in June 2018 about the power of immersive filmmaking.

Alethea premiered her documentary feature film debut, Sundays, at the Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival in May 2020.  The film was produced by Giorgos Karnavas and Konstantinos Kontovrakis of Heretic in Athens and was the recipient of the 2018 Greek Film Center and the CNC Co-Production treaty.  Sundays will air on ERT (Greek national broadcaster) in January 2021.
